The Nikon Photo Contest International has been held by Nikon Corporatoin since 1969 to provide opportunities for photographers around the world to communicate and to enrich photographic culture for professionals and amaterus alike.

“At the heart of the imgae” is the theme for this 31st contest, in which entries are invited in two categories. The first of these categories is free subject and the second is entitled “Smile, Smile, Smile!”

Entries are accepted from 1st September to 30th November, 2006. Entries sent by conventional mail should be received either on or before 30th November, 2006. Entries sent via the Internet will be accepted until 24:00, 30th November, 2006, Japan time.
