This is a underwater housing for Canon 5D from Sea & Sea in Japan. The camera adopts a corrosion resistance aluminum alloy to strength the body material of the DX-5D. With this special material, you will be guaranteed the efficient spacing inside the housing body, small size and lightweight conversion of the body.

There’re advanced functions such as leak sensor equipment and the new shutter lever with 2 N-type connectors (the 2pin connector and 6pin connector). If 6pin connector is used, the connection with E-TTL II automatic modulated light photographing becomes possible. With the appearance of the DX-5D and the capability of the 35mm full size CMOS sensor on the 5D, the DX-5D of high rigidity / high durability / high accuracy shows the highest performance under various photographing conditions underwater.
